Welcome to September! This month, we’re thrilled to introduce new classes, offer registration details, and share how you can get involved in our growing community. Whether you’re interested in learning something new or stepping into a leadership role, there’s something for everyone at YPP! Session 21 Is Off To a Start!
Session 21 Student Registration is officially starting! With an amazing team of diligent instructors, 15+ classes in fields ranging from math to history to dancing, and great free learning opportunities for students, this session is off to a great start!
Make sure to register for classes before the deadline of August 30th!
If you have not had a chance to register your student for some fun learning yet, do not worry! The registration deadline is Friday, August 30th. Some fun new courses that we are adding into Session 21 are Intro to Public Speaking and Writing, World History 101, Creative Advocacy and Expression, Introduction to Python, and many more. Register quickly on the Youth Passion Project website before spots run out!
Classes will start at the first week of September and will wrap up by the first week of November. With our multiple session-length models, we can ensure that students can choose which class length works best for them! Whether they prefer shorter and quicker paced classes with our blank week session or our newer and longer 9 week session to help your child make the most of their learning to cover material more in-depth, the Youth Passion Project has the perfect learning environment for each child. We’re looking forward to seeing our students in class soon!
Session 21 Sneak Peek into Classes
In Session 21, we are offering a roster of both staple Youth Passion Project classes and new courses. Listed below are some of our most popular courses along with their class descriptions!
Fundamentals of Algebra 1
The foundational concepts of Algebra 1 covers a wide range of topics including linear equations, inequalities, functions, polynomials, and quadratic equations. Through engaging lessons, interactive exercises, and real-world applications, students will develop critical problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of algebraic principles, preparing them for advanced math courses and everyday problem-solving.
Fundamentals of Biology
This course covers the fundamentals of biology including the concepts of the 4 Macromolecules, Cell structure and organelles functions, Respiration and fermentation, classification of living things (Domain and kingdom system), Natural selection, and Mendelian genetics. Students will be taught through Power points and will be assigned additional practice for those students who want to learn.
Intermediate Lincoln-Douglas Debate
This course offers students the opportunity to advance their debate skills in order to find success competitively or in middle to high school -level humanities courses. Students will be instructed in varsity-level Lincoln-Douglas practices. Although the course is more advanced, no prior debate experience is required for students with strong humanities skills.
Dance and Creative Movement
Dance and Creative Movement is a dynamic, mixed-level class aimed at introducing students to various styles of dance, including contemporary, jazz and hip-hop. The class is open to all dance enthusiasts, and no prior dance experience is required. Each class will feature a fun, new dance combination.

Are you a high school student looking for volunteer hours, leadership roles, and a great community? Join the Youth Passion Project as an instructor or Chapter President! We are always looking for bright individuals to lead chapters of YPP and share knowledge and opportunities for students around the world!
